decode in oracle

I had a SQL query and I forgot how to put calculated content in the output.  Yes, you can use the "DECODE" function and it works great.


SELECT FLD1,FLD2, DECODE("FLD1"="JED","CLAMPETT") FROM TABLE_HILLBILLY
